Biography

Mario Calderon, was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, New York. He's a graduate of Hofstra University and also an alumnus of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  Mario's magnetizing and electrifying nature has reaped numerous rewards in the entertainment industry earning him the title of lead male actor and model to major national print and television advertising campaigns with companies such as: Pepsi, Toys R Us, Toyota, to name a few. His robust and enduring energy has placed him in places such as, on the dance floor for MTV Global Grooves, along side Ricky Martin and "Regis and Kelly Live" in their hot bodies beach segment. His appeal also landed him the honor of being the face of the PlayStation and X-box hit video game "Just Cause". 

Mario is fluent in English and Spanish, creating a crossover appeal to advertising and network executives. He has appeared on the Spanish game show "12 corazones" and "Suegras" the Spanish version reality show of the current reality show "Mommas boy". Presently, he is the host of a bilingual entertainment show called "FANdemonium". Mario's indefatigable and benevolent attitude keeps him moving, eager to take on his next challenge.

On occasion Mario gets booked as a motivational speaker to inner city students. He enjoys acting as host and emcee to local and national DJ companies for private and corporate events. When not working, Mario likes to fill whatever time is left with family, traveling, reading and exercising with capoeira and Jiu-Jitsu.
